Anita bellies up to the bar in the famous Red Hand Tavern at Fort Marriner, having just had a nasty encounter with a Risen creature. She’s on her way to the Lionguard fort at Claw Island… (The picture is wavy because she’s had a couple of drinks. Strong ones.)
Anita Sentasdottir watches the assault of the Red…er…dredge hordes upon Mantelet Refuge from a safe vantage point.
September achievements completed. The mystic coins are nice, but I’d really rather have more cash and experience. Wouldn’t you?
Josephus shows off the steam rifle he used to literally blast-jump his way to this vista in Lornar’s (the same one Anita visited the other day). Engineers have a much better time with some vistas (and jumping puzzles, come to think on it) because of their skill #5.
After nearly a week of fruitless waiting, Josephus Burstbomb FINALLY gets into the “cattleputt” and gets propelled forcefully to the top of the Moorwatch Tower, thus completing the Diessa Plateau!
…and a few minutes later, Anita fights off a raid by a couple of reef skelk on the nursery! (Skelk and skale are two Tyrian species that I wouldn’t mind in the least seeing going extinct, I can tell you. They have no redeeming qualities whatsoever.)
Anita visits the quaggan nursery in a carefully secluded and guarded underwater cave on the Bloodtide Coast.
Anita meets a most eccentric pirate captain on the shores of False Lake: Suwash the quaggan. (She’s just helped Suwash put down an attempted mutiny instigated by the ousted captain.)
Lornar’s Pass has what I consider to be some of the most spectacular vistas in the game. Anita Sentasdottir stands upon a mountaintop in the southern part of the zone, overlooking the point where the arctic terrain changes to temperate climate.
Anita contemplates the ruined statue of Dwayna at the place called “Skylady’s Memory” in Lornar’s Pass.
The Ascalon Settlement has come a very long way since its rude beginnings 250 years ago as a glorified camp for refugees fleeing the ruin of their kingdom.
