Yes, this is a big but subtle change that I don’t think I really realized until I read this post. Caster classes (mesmer, elementalist, necromancer) no longer have to worry about energy management. It’s skill recharging times that they need to watch now. In fact, I found that my mesmer, when armed with skill and pistol, can fight continuously using the first skill on the bar (forget what it’s called, but it’s the pistol-shot one) without needing to worry about energy management OR skill recharge.
Guild Wars 2: Fight to Survive - One of the nifty features in this game. Gives you a chance to revive yourself if you can down a nearby foe before your own defeat meter expires. Who knew throwing rocks at a centaur would turn the tide in a battle.
